Logan Pokorney was named to the All-DAC boys basketball team announced Friday and he will have plenty of company in trying to repeat next season.
Five seniors, three juniors, a sophomore and a freshman made the team.
“I think with only having 10 spots for the all-conference team, to be one of those top 10 as a junior is impressive and well-deserved,” Chesterton coach Marc Urban said.
The 10 all-DAC players, in the order they were listed on the press release: Seniors Michael Wellman, the conference MVP, and Garrett Clark of Portage, Michigan City senior Anthony Murphy, Merrillville freshman Charles Hardiman, sophomore Mason Darrell and junior DiKembe Shaw of Crown Point, Pokorney, and LaPorte sophomore Griffin Ott-Large.
Pokorney led the team in scoring (15.5 points per game) and in steals (24) and had an extremely efficient season shooting. He shot .641 on 2-point field goal attempts, .396 on 3-point attempts and .840 from the line.
